Our historic home was built in 1867 by French immigrants and is mainly original to the time it was built. This three bedroom farmhouse is haunted by happy ghosts who loved thier home. The field cabin sits on the edge of our hayfield. Located a short drive or walk from the Cambre House, this one room new cabin is the quiet retreat you have been looking for. Watch the deer walk through the field and enjoy this little slice of country living. Everything you need is just a short drive from either Nauvoo Illinois or Fort Madison Iowa.This is a great place to stay if you are attending a wedding or another event at the Cambre House which is just down the road.
