Sunset at Cambre House and Farm. The back of the house overlooks the Mississippi River.

The property boasts more than 20 secluded acres overlooking the Mississippi River and historic Mormon Springs, a natural mineral spring. The house is on the National Historic National Historic Register of Historic Places, built in 1867 by French Icarian cabinet maker, Adolphe Cambre.

Four generations of Cambres lived on the working farm until it was sold to Relly and Lois Fowler in 1979. The Fowlers preserved the home using the property for the annual Salt Box craft show in the 80s and early 90s. Many of the Fowler family gatherings were held on the property through the years including two weddings, many Easters, birthdays, and picnics.

The property is currently owned by Rebecca Williamson, granddaughter of Relly and Lois. She is dedicated to preserving the house and sharing it with the public.
